Glass vs Acrylic
Glass bongs — particularly borosilicate glass — are the premium choice. They are heat-resistant, easy to clean, and produce a purer, cleaner taste compared to acrylic. Borosilicate glass is the same material used in laboratory glassware, making it highly durable and resistant to thermal shock. Do I Need a Percolator?
A percolator (or “perc”) is an additional water filtration chamber inside the bong that further diffuses smoke before it reaches the mouthpiece. This produces a smoother, cooler, and less harsh draw. Percolator bongs are ideal for those who want a more refined experience — though they require slightly more cleaning than a standard bong.
What Size Should I Choose?
